Unhealthy Alliance: McDonald's and Children's Hospitals

Drug Shortages: Severe shortages of chemotherapy drugs and other critical medicines are endangering patients and causing financial crises for hospitals that must pay huge mark-ups for these life-saving treatments. At least 15 deaths in the past 15 months are blamed on the shortages, an Associated Press investigation has found.

Measles: California leads the nation with the most reported measles cases, although the number of cases is small – 28, Anna Gorman reports for the Los Angeles Times. Officials say more parents are forgoing measles vaccinations for their children, posing a public health concern.
