Billie Weiss

Billie Weiss is an associate director of the Southern California Injury Prevention Research Center at the UCLA School of Public Health and the former director of the L.A. County Department of Health Services Injury and Violence Prevention Program. She also serves as acting director of the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles, which she founded. She has authored numerous papers andthree book chapters and frequently makes presentations to scientific, professional and community conferences. Ms.

Francesca M. Gany

Dr. Francesca M. Gany is the founder and director of the Center for Immigrant Health, a network of more than 1,000 community members, social scientists, health care and public health professionals. Gany, a faculty member of the New York University School of Medicine, has extensive background in immigrant health research and policy development. She teaches primary care and immigrant health, along with health policy and medical economics.
