With journalism undergoing a sea of change, it's more important than ever before for journalists to provide insights and analyses that their readers and viewers can't get anywhere else. By attending a California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowship, you will hone your health reporting skills and learn about how the nation's growing diversity is affecting health and health care.

Because so many reporters and producers today are expected to be able to cover any story, our Fellowship is not limited to those on the health beat. We welcome all journalists with a passion for health reporting. And while we periodically offer some print-only or broadcast-only training tracks, we believe strongly that print, broadcast and online journalists can learn from each other, as can journalists working for both the mainstream and ethnic media.

Whether you spend all your professional time on health stories, or just dip into the beat occasionally, you can expect to return to your newsrooms with notebooks filled with story ideas and new ways to think about storytelling and presentation.
