About Myself

As a student at California Baptist University, I interned for the Press-Enterprise and Los Angeles Times Community newspapers and wrote for Hispanic Lifestyle Magazine. More recently I worked at the Redlands Daily Facts and Desert Sun newspapers.

I was a 2005 California Endowment Health Journalism Fellow and served two terms as President of the Inland Southern California Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Now a government media specialist, I am a freelance journalist who is working on non-fiction book projects.
