About Myself

I am an independent journalist and editor of www.HealthyCal.org, a website and information network with initial funding from the California Endowment. The site combines policy reporting from the Capitol and elsewhere and stories from the community in a way that seeks to bridge the gap between policymakers and the rest of us. It focuses on health and other issues that affect the health of our communities, including the environment, land-use, transportation and economics.
