About Myself

I produce television for the PBS affiliate, KVIE in Sacramento. I also work on America's Heartland, which is a national program and is produced out of Sacramento. I produce two health programs a year and look forward to working with all of you.

Making a Difference

People I write about motivate me, especially children who are living with diseases.

I recently wrote a documentary about a little girl named Gabrielle who is living with type-1 diabetes. I followed her to school and around the clock -- showing people the challenges this little girl faces everyday. Her story motivated me to reach out to other children who are living with diseases and have a voice for those children who are often not heard. Her story has impacted my work directly because it opened up a new world to me. I had no idea how hard it is for children, both physically and socially, who are living with a disease. I met a lot of inspiring people in my community through her story, and I’m now using them in other documentaries that I’m producing for KVIE.

I posted my documentary. It’s called, “Sounding the Alarm: Diabetes in the Valley.”
